Atlas Brackets are built to handle the heaviest portable tender motor rail storage needs. This bracket is: -9 inches wide to give a bigger mounting plate for the screw downs -constructed with 2-1″ starboard boards to sandwich around your stern rails -the stainless-steel cap is extending 10″ from the top give added strength to the stress areas between the upper and lower rails to prevent bracket flexing -the edges of the stainless-steel cap are bend around the edges of the Starboard Plastic for added strength -the U-bolt slot for securing the lower rail is designed to cover a 10-1/2″ to 17-1/2 upper to lower rail spacing
